The brand-new 2020 GMC Sierra HD AT4 has changed the truck’s trend. The 2020 GMC Sierra heavy-duty pickup truck has just crested the horizon. The new GMC also introduces a few optional features that are said to help with towing, hauling, and other truck tasks.

The looks mean, violent, and has a design language. An AT4 off-road trim will be available on the new Sierra HD. While the off-road upgrades include reworked springs and shocks, skid plates, standard all-terrain tires and a locking rear differential.

2020 GMC Sierra HD AT4

The 2020 GMC Sierra HD AT4 has bits of dark exterior trim, an off-road suspension setup with Rancho shocks and a locking rear differential, and all-terrain tires. Coming to the options, it includes the light-duty Sierra’s MultiPro tailgate with a few different positions. Besides these features, 2020 GMC Sierra HD AT4 has a 15-inch head-up display, and a camera system that displays various views of the trailer.

On the other hand, the headlights are the same, large-sized units found on the Sierra HD that feature C-shaped LEDs and daytime running lights. The bumper is finished in body color and houses the fog-lamp units as well. The bottom of the bumper receives black plastic cladding that is more prominent than that of the Sierra HD.

The side profile looks neat with a large-sized wing mirror and a badge each on the front fender and the side door. The 18-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin tires look a tad bit small, thanks to a raised stance and flared wheel arches.

The diesel is the same 6.6-liter Duramax unit from the current truck, making the same 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. But the truck is now mated to an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission to replace the old six-speed. The only facts that GM has shared on the gasoline powertrain so far are that it is a new engine and that it pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission.
